Torface

Visited an enchanting castle nestled in a Rhineland forest today. We walked downhill through the trees to find this beautiful castle, which we proceeded to explore in search of Sleeping Beauty. (at Burg Eltz in Münstermailfeld, Germany)

Rounding out our girls’ weekend in Ghent. We ate dinner right next to a castle! It was sort of a big city Bruges. Very cool. (at Ghent, Belgium)

We missed the tulip fields by one day (sadly, they were all cut), but we made it to the beautiful flower garden of Keukenhof to kick off our girls’ weekend. (at Keukenhof)

In addition to the efficiency of harnessing wind for energy, the Germans are all about recycling. You get charged for how much your garbage weighs, but all recycling is free! (at Waldfeucht, Germany)
