Mission
My little brother gets his mission call on Wednesday. My favorite little buddy will be leaving me for two years to serve an LDS mission. I’m so proud of him, but I really can’t believe this time has come, and that I find out when I have to say goodbye and where we’re sending him off to in just a few days. Life moves far too quickly.

I’m all for personal expression. Unique use of language can set one apart. Lately, I’ve become more acutely aware of words and phrases that I’ve picked up. Some, from being a native Utahan (“oh my heck”), others from being Mormon (“oh my heavens”), and still others from my mother (“for hell’s sake”).
